French Toast Recipe

Origin: Betty Crocker Big Bread Book with ingredients set to 2/3 accept for vanilla and salt

Ingredients:
5 Slices of bread
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup milk
1/4 Teaspoon vanilla
2 Teaspoons sugar
1/8 Teaspoon salt

Directions:
A) In a medium bowl beat eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar and salt. Transfer the mixture to a square shallow bowl
B) Heat skillet to medium heat. Grease skillet with one teaspoon olive oil
C) Dip bread into egg mixture, place bread on skillet and cook about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown
